Erik and His Father in 2009 at the Eagles Pre-Season Game

Erik Manassy is the author of Jets Twit and a self proclaimed “Die Hard” Jets fan.   Erik has been a fan since the days of Freeman McNeil and Al Toon were terrorizing opposing defenses.

Known to his friends as “E” and “@e_man” on Twitter, Erik became fascinated with social media specifically the tool Twitter.  He was was of the earliest adopters of the tool in 2006 as user number 11,000.  Now with the site over the million mark, Erik has had some doors of opportunity open for him that would never had if it were not for social media.

Along with meeting players online, Erik has formed relationships with many key people who share the same passion as him about the New York Football Jets.

Erik is a season ticket holder and hardly ever misses a game.  At every home game, he can be seen in Parking Lot 13A tail gating with his father, Lou.
