According to our friends at Jetnation.com, the New York Jets put out a full page ad in a Kansas City Newspaper thanking the veteran who had a pretty great run with the Jets franchise:
I have to admit that I am kind of surprised by this great gesture. Not because the Jets are incapable of doing this, but because it is rare in the day and age of the NFL today. The league is known to be cut throat, and this ad to TJ is the exception and not the rule.
Kudos to Woody, Rex, Mr. T and the rest of the Jets organization.
