OchoCinco and Darrelle Revis were on ESPN’s “First Take” today to discuss their rivalry. Both players are in town for ESPN the Weekend 2010 in Disney World, Orlando Florida.
Highlights:
OchoCinco refuses to change his name back to Chad Johnson. He was talking smack and said if he was shut down by Darrelle Revis in both games, he would change his name back. He said he’s a man of his word and in “his world” he runs the show and can change his mind. He’s on Revis’ Island in Ocho’s world.
Darrelle was asked if he was upset. Revis responded that Ocho was “his boy” and that he would let it slide. The host then went into why more players like Darrelle do not understand that Ocho is playing a “game” within the game and most take it personal.
They then talked about Chad’s comment: “We have a guy who had one good year and we want to label him a shutdown corner. He has to put in years”. Revis said he addressed it in the locker room at the Pro-Bowl and undersood what Chad meant. He agreed that he had to put in his years.
On Jay Feely’s show, Darrelle was asked who was his biggest challenge. Revis said it was Chad due to his attitude, the trash talking. He called their battle on the field two race cars wondering who will cross the finish line.
