After the Big Loss: Sanchez Putting in Extra Video Time

by Erik Manassy on October 21, 2009

10999795_BG1After reading the headline, you are thinking, great.  We want our young QB to bury his head in the books, or in this case the video to analyze his mistakes and get better, BUT….

We are not talking about Game footage Video.

Into the early morning on Tuesday, Mark Sanchez was seen playing the Wii specifically Wii Bowling with some friends.

Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez played video games to take his mind off Sunday’s stinker against the Bills…

..was playing Nintendo Wii until 4 a.m. yesterday at East Village Cuban eatery Latina Cantina. “He was there with some friends and only seemed interested in playing Wii,” says a spy. “He wasn’t playing a football game, either — he was bowling.”

So how is this big news?  It isn’t, but this is part of what happens when you play Quarterback for a New York Franchise.  You get put under the enormous microscope and everything you do in public becomes major news.  As stated in an earlier article I wrote, as long as Mark improves, I don’t care what he does during his off time.
