I HATE HATE HATE missing home Jets games, in fact, I have missed only 3 in the last ten years. I’m down in Sunny FL in Disney World for the IT Symposium sponsored by Gartner. I’ve been going to this conference for 5 years now, and for 3 of those years, I have been lucky with no Jets games those weekends.
Last year we had a 1pm game and I went to the stadium and then my father dropped me off for a flight out of Newark. I got into my hotel at 1am.
This year the Jets are playing the Bills at 4:15 and there was NO WAY I could pull off the redeye. I left really early this morning so I could catch the Jets game at the ESPN Sports Zone on the Boardwalk in Disney. With my Kerry Rhodes #25 Jersey on, I’ll be hitting that around 4. Hopefully we’ll have a ton of Jets fans and I’ll have to get some chants going on!
